
The strengthening of internal cleansing program of Philippine National Police has now commenced in Pinabacdao Municipal Station in collaboration and partnership with Jesus Is Lord Church, Pinabacado through the simultaneous signing of the memorandum of agreement last February 18, 2020. In pursuant to the Republic Act No. 6975 known as the Department of Interior and Local Government Act of 1990 as ammended by Republic Act No. 8551, known as the PNP Reform Reorganization Act of 1998.
The enhanced Revitalized Internal Cleansing Program of the Philippine National Police serves as policies and guidelines in the internal efforts to successfully execute the PNP’s strong desire to clean up its ranks by conducting intensified and sustained internal cleansing strategies namely Preventive, Restoration and Punitive.
Thus, the program aims to uplift the spiritual characteristics of each and every man in uniform by mentoring, monitoring and shepherding the SQUAD for a period of three years.
The three strategies preventive approach uses SQUAD system which stands for SPIRITUAL QUEST, UNDERTAKING and ACTIVITIES for DISCIPLESHIP is composed of five to eight PNP uniformed personnel with one squad leader who mentors his members and is to be assisted by an accredited and trained values of LIFE (Leadership, Integrity, Faith and Excellent) coach.
The CIBAC representative, Bro. Eddie Villanueva, Jesus is Lord Church founder, reiterated that “the JIL ministry is born in the very heart of God.” The religious group which soley abides to the biblical teaching and principles was envigorated in taking part in the refreshing program of the PNP nationwide.
In the person of Erlinda Macapagat who signed the MOA and the pastor of the congregation was motivated and accepted the challenge in addressing the purpose. Hence, the values aimed by the program is also anchored to the core values of JIL, as PLIFE stands, Passionate Love for God, Leadership, Faith and Excellence.
The program hopes to ensure that the PNP uniformed personnel are the most disciplened and God fearing men, so as to maintain peace and order in the society.
